About Holdfire Network

Holdfire Network made it’s start in October of 2005 and is based out of Chicago, Illinois, USA. Holdfire Network was created when we found out how hard it was to find a decent hosting company that offered affordable hosting packages on stable servers. So when Holdfire Network started, we wanted to give our customers the ability to have a substantial amount of disk space and bandwidth for an excellent price, without compromising on quality.

In February of 2006, after having built a stable and profitable customer base, we decided to expand and offer larger packages, while still keeping our attractive pricing in place. Over a year later and now in the new year, 2007, we are yet again expanding on our packages by giving clients the ability resell hosting to their own specifications. Not only that but we’ve increased the package sizes of our current packages to accomodate the growing need for space and bandwidth.

The server Chirp is housed in the Savvis datacenter which is located in Fort Worth, Texas. SAVVIS, INC is a global IT utility services provider that leads the industry in delivering secure, reliable, and scalable hosting, entwork, and application services. With an IT services platform that extends to 45 countries, SAVVIS is one of the world’s largest providers of IP computing services.

Spartan.holdfire.net, Elite.holdfire.net, & Ftw.holdfire.net

The servers Spartan, Elite, Ftw are housed in the Lightedge Solutions datacenter which is located in Des Moines, Iowa. What’s so special about Lightedge, is that in order to ensure maximum redundancy, various providers are pulled in from multiple cities so that if one link were to fail, there would be a failover. Additionally, LightEdge Solutions enters the building from two diverse areas of the building, ensuring that there is no single-point of failure.

The server Oreos is housed in private datacenter space in the Printer’s Square carrier hotel and telecommunications center in downtown Chicago, IL. Printers’ Square is home to virtually all of the market leaders in the telecommunications industry. The property currently houses over 30 major carriers and network service providers, serving as the premier hub for the Chicago market and as a gateway to Canadian telecommunications.
