I think it would be great if we can have an option to receive email updates regarding network issues/scheduled maintenance for the server we are on. There are people like me that don't check the "Network issues" page unless we know something is wrong.

I actually lost a bit of data during the recent hardware migration of Dharma as I didn't know of the upgrade till I realise my data were gone.

Perhaps it would be good if there's an option to allow us to receive email updates on such issues?

Thank you! :)

I agree with Dayna. Although I saw the update on Twitter regarding, it would be nice to receive an email before and after any network issues/hardware updates/etc.

My site also went backwards a bit but luckily I had a very recent back up saved. :D

I will definitely take this into consideration. Although as you had mentioned Dayna, we do post any/all scheduled maintenance on our Network Issues page; There is no RSS option for it right now but I'll gladly get one setup so taht you can subscribe to it.

We've sort of flushed out any/all email newsletters for awhile now with our social mediums we've been using instead but will definitely consider pushing back to just newsletters to test it out again.

Thanks Jordan for taking the suggestion into consideration.

I actually think that email newsletter is a great idea! I don't use the feedreader much but I definitely checked my mails on a daily basis so email newsleter is a better option for me! :D

I realize that it may be a better option for you but there are a lot more people that have voiced that social mediums were a bit better than emails for them.. So it was a majority rule in my decision for nixing newsletters a year ago.

We'll still be using social mediums and our main support page; Newletters won't come into testing for a bit still. But we'll try them out later on down the road.
